GEMMA CARPENTER

I began teaching Pilates in 2013. In the intervening years I added TaiChi/Qigong and PureStretch to my timetable. In 2018 I took the decision to bring all I do under the heading "The Movement Company" - sounds all fancy doesn't it!

Since qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist, I can offer more in depth knowledge of injuries and conditions when seeing clients and helping them with their journey.

My aim has always been to encourage all those attending my sessions; both classes and 1:1's to gain confidence in themselves and their own abilities. To have some fun and, most importantly, encourage MOVEMENT!  â€‹

Look forward to seeing you in sessions soon

"Thank you Gemma for keeping me fit and flexible- I can feel a real improvement in my knees after last Friday’s session."

"After having abdominal surgery, and losing fitness and confidence in my body's strength and function, Gemma helped me reconnect with my physical abilities and belief in myself.

She gave me useful and effective exercises to target the areas that needed work, and I am happy to say I am now feeling much more able to work on my fitness and get back to running the trail races I am aiming for.

Thank you very much Gemma!!!!"
